We revived the monthly concert from this month with a splendid performance by Ms.Shraddha Mohan. Her rendition of each piece was filled with raaga bhava. She gave the audience a wholesome feeling at the end of the concert ,with excellent choices. Her voice, diction, the command with which she sang nereval, were an absolute delight. She was ably accompanied on the violin by Sri Achyutha Rao and. Sri Phanindra Bhaskara on the mridanganm who gave great support.Their understanding of the mood of the main artist and the support given, was appreciable.
The audience attended in good numbers and we sincerely hope that this trend continues and is not the immediate result of our expressing our angst on the dwindling numbers for monthly concerts.
