Small venue in thiruvanmiyur, brilliant concert by Ravikiran! He is someone who can conjure the same magic irrespective of where he plays be it the MA or a small hall like yesterday with 30-40 people turning out. Charumati excelled herself. her bhairavi and saramati deserves special mention. thani was short but entertaining. CVRK must play often off-season.

Small venue in thiruvanmiyur,

It's a marriage hall, and none-too-good on the acoustics. The PA is in mono, with speaker on one side only. Somehow, though, they seem to achieved the impossible and concerts there sound better than they did a few years ago!

puru00047, it was good to meet and talk to you too. Also to sit next to and talk with the young violinist's father.

A Ravikiran concert is, in my book, an Event. So where was everyone? A most disappointing turnout for this eminent and unique artist. However, nothing else was disappointing about this wonderful concert.

Was able to attend this brilliant concert . Really enjoyed the Yadhukulakambiji and Saramathi raga alapanais . Very nice concert. The artiste also played Tisra nadai swarams in both bhairavi and saramathi.
