Sri Ganesh & Sri Kumaresh gave a violin recital in the prestigious India International Centre, New Delhi, with the audience mainly consisting of some of the finest intellectuals & research scholars of the country. The whole programme was webcast live. The list of items in the concert with my review are..
1.The concert started with Syama Sastri’s Ananda Bhairavi piece ‘O Jagadhamba..’.
2. The brothers then launched into their own creative contribution, Raga Pravaham in the Mayamalavagowla raga. Though this piece had no script, it brought out some hitherto unexplored facets of the raga.
3. After an elaborate & exquisite alapana of the raga Rasa Manjari, by Kumaresh, they took up Muthuswami Dikshidar’s composition ‘Sringara Rasa manjari….’ (The raga Rasikapriya is Rasamanjari in MD’s parlance).
4. It was then the turn of Ganesh to chisel the raga Bhairavi in all its splendour. The brithers took up Saint Thyagaraja’s piece ‘Thanayani brova…’. Ganesh’s vocal rendition of the kalpana swara for this piece was quite interesting. Then followed the thani avardanam, in which Sankaranarayanan (Mrudangam) and Trichy Krishnan (Ghatam) showcased their mastery.
5. The next item taken up was ‘Balakrishna Dhevam..’ by Meenakshisutha in Yamuna Kalyani in which Ganesh rendered the song vocally.
6. The last item of the concert was a Thillana in Dwajawanthi – their own composition.
The live HD webcast was of very high quality. The brothers were radiating positive energy through the concert and it was a fitting presentation to the scholars present in the audience.

There is a parallel thread going on about this concert in the Gen discussions...
I just listened to the recorded webcast. Very nice audio quality.
I thought the mridangam accompaniment by R Sankaranarayanan was brilliant! Loved his nadham, speed and delivery.
