Just downloaded it. At first sight, it seems excellent for checking out what is happening right now, although I'd be happy if the date/time in the events view was more prominent.

Here's hoping it never gets an alarm function!

Cannot write a review on Google Play as I refuse to go for the latest Google sign-up-for-google+ scheme.

Also, Nick - There's no alarm function, but there is a notification function. If you add an event to your calendar, you will get a notification for it.

Yes, I've found this out today: it is good. Not sure that you got my humorous allusion re alarms --- to the possibility of a hundred alarm tones going off telling members of the audience that it is time to concert hop ]:). Keep it silent :D

How many days does it store? Already, I have to scroll through all yesterday's concerts to get to todays. It's a lot, and the baby is barely off the ground yet

Nick,

It should ideally display only from the current day. Will reach out to you to figure out why you are getting yesterday's concerts as well.

You got a nice write-up in The Hindu! Congratulations.

I'm surprised there is not more interest here in this very useful app

www.kutcheris.com --- web version...

I can't click on a star in the events listing and add that event to my list any longer. Was working fine: cookies are enabled.

And... please change that silly "ten per page" default. --- especially as it loads many, many more, and then chops it to ten, until 100 is clicked.

This one I asked for last year... duplicate the page navigation *at the bottom* of each events page. That's usually where a person is when they want to go to the next page. Adding "top" might help those who want to go to a different search instead, even though keyboards have a home key.

Keep up the good work!

Yes, 1 and 2 are resolved, but you seem to have messed up some code that pulls event listings from the database. Only 2 pages of events show up now (at least for me). Takeaway lesson... never mess with a live website. Make tweaks to a replicated staging area and then go live after testing. :-)

For 3, with the table sorter pager Javascript plugin that you use, you should be able to do this by modifying your PHP code to simply replicate the <div> element with class="pager" once more below the table. Hope this helps.

Vijay,

As the number of concerts listed for the season is really huge, a lot of people wrote in to request limiting the number of listings to just a couple of days so that it loads very quickly. To see a larger set, they could use the search feature (using "from", "to" date fields). So we purposefully limited it. In case you and a lot of people here feel its better to have the complete listing, we will revert to the same.

Will get back to you on 3)

Please revert with the complete listing , I was just searching for complete listing , could not see it. It is certainly a pain to fill to and from date everytime you hit the site. I usually make decisions looking at next few days and then may be attend few depending on the availability of my time.

Yes, I agree (cross-posted with Rajesh)... Letting a person page on through (to the other side? Doors lyric. Almost) to the end of the season if they wanted, in page-size chunks. Without keying in dates, unless they want to jump to, or isolate a date range.

The star works, but I can't see the concert I just stared for 15th, because "my calendar" on the front page is only showing me 14th (today). My calendar must show the entire listing!

The integration is a good idea. I wonder how many people have noticed that one can click on the right-hand arrow, and then do stuff like save to a google calendar? :)

The Android App update is great. My favourite thing is that it is now storing the artist and concert details for "followed" artists. I don't like to use a data connection away from the home wifi, having a very small, prepaid, phone budget.

Ram,

My bad... Makes more sense than loading over 2500 events in schedule.php. Having said that, you might want to consider increasing that number a bit more to hit a sweet spot. I'm guessing that a 5 to 7 day period (maybe 500 events) would satisfy the most common usage patterns.

Dear sridhar_ranga and other friends using iOS,

The free LITE version of the kutcheris.com app is available for download now at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/kutcher ... 17643?mt=8

While it is currently available for iOS 6, we will very soon make it available for the earlier versions as well. The LITE version provides the events listing with real time updates as and when there are event updates/ additions. Please let us know your feedback.

Not sure if I mentioned this before. Whilst I know it is what many people think "smart" phones are for, I do not like to keep a data connection active outside the house. I need therefore, to download two or three days of data to carry around with me, and I do this on the home wifi. However the app does not remember all of this. Whatever we download we should keep, until we are past the relevant dates.

Next thing, When clicking on an event to go to event details, returning to the event list does not return to the point at which we left it. This means endlessly scrolling back to where we were.

Still loving it :)

Thank you Ram. I downloaded it today and found it very useful. Maybe the non-lite versions provide full details such as whether it is a vocal or veena or flute concert etc. ?

Very handy app that helps plan the day in advance. Thank you folks.
