SaMaaGaMa – Chennai’s first outdoor festival of FREE Interactive Workshops and Performances was hosted by eAmbalam on 17th and 18th. Dec, 2011 at Nageswara Rao Park, Mylapore, Chennai.

We would like to invite you to participate in this year’s SaMaaGaMa created exclusively for all of you to experience the “confluence”.

In keeping with our objective of putting together various disciplines in classical and non-classical performing arts of our country, we have created a rich spread for SaMaaGaMa.
This comprises of Akatha Kahaani, Rural theatre, Abhangs, Lavani, Yakshagana, Silambam, Animal Movements, Art in education, Joy of Rhythm, Global Fusion and Western fusion.
Added to this are the classical forms of Odissi, Mohiniattam, Sitar, Nadaswaram, Karnatic Vocal and Bharatanatyam.

While both the performances and workshops are free, registrations for the workshops are mandatory and best done asap online on http://www.ambalam.org
