he then started surutti had to leave dont know what the song was.on the whole it was a wonderful concert.the elaborate niraval and swaram for chakravaham and todi were very nice. the poorvikalyani alaap was done in such a way it was Bramikka vaithadu according to mr.Narasimhan.
sri. gopinath was goodin some places but otherwise o.k.
tani by Eswaran sir and anirudh was excellent
when abhishek finished the kriti pesum daivam someone asked who was the composer.he said it was Guru surajananda tuned by sri.TMT in raga nagavalli


The previous day it was sri.TNS who gave an interesting concert on Devi kritis.starting withvanajakshi varnam,he proceeded to sing sri varalakshmi in sri ragam with a nice alaap and swaram.then came dwijavanthi alaap done vey beautifully and the kriti akilandeswari with kalpana swarams.after that it was sivakamasundari in jaganmohini.Ambavani nannu in keeravani with only niraval and swaram was the next one.sri.Mchandrasekaran was equally good in his returns.by the time it was 8.40 and had to leave.main was sarojadalanetri in sankarabharanam i heard.
Eswaran sir was as usual in top form.
It was really a very good concert only thing being instead of 6.30 it started at 7.

On the whole it was a wonderful concert.
