Beautifully designed website. The pictures are absolutely superb! They capture the esssence of Seshanna's era so well.
I wish they would use spellcheck before going live. The correct spelling is "firmament" not "fermament" (in case their webmaster is reading this).

The photos in the website are just too good, liked the choice of your design/colors in your website that aligned with that nostalgia.

And a bit more than just spellcheck too...like 'bear foot' instead of bare foot....I had a nice time imagining a man with bear claws walking behind his vINA...made me wonder if Jan and Stan Beranstain had a new addition to their series....mahavishnu wrote:I wish they would use spellcheck before going live. The half cent question: Did Seshanna 'proceed' or precede the mena ? 'proceeded behind it' with 'bear feet' and folded hands has me in severe confusion.rshankar wrote: And a bit more than just spellcheck too...like 'bear foot' instead of bare foot....I had a nice time imagining a man with bear claws walking behind his vINA...made me wonder if Jan and Stan Beranstain had a new addition to their series....

Very nice ---but certainly needs proof reading and correction. Watch out for apostrophes too!

I posted this morning and still see no X between Edit and ! However the X shows up in this post! Earlier, it gave us 72 hours to reconsider and delete posts!Lakshman wrote:smala: The X between edit and ! is the delete button.

Re: Recently released website on vīṇe śēṣaṇṇa
Just for the record, the URL was mentioned in The Hindu article; just shared it with fellow rasika-s. Setting aside the literature on the site, the photos transport viewers to a nostalgic journey to the period of musical grandeur; one can only venture to guess the amount of musical precocity that existed in times yonder... ( :ymsigh:).
But wow - releases of 16 volumes of CDs of Seshanna compositions by various artistes uptodate is indeed a feat! One must commend the organizers of vīṇeya bedagu programmes.

Very nice website.
Smala, this issue about buttons not appearing seems to be intermittent, particularly affecting users who don't usually log out and in when they visit the site. Do you usually log in and out or do you stay logged in all the time? Also what browser do you use? The time limit of 72 hours is for editing posts, 60 mins for deleting them - has been so for a long time now.
