Chitravina N Ravikiran's 72-Mela Ragamalika Geetam

Post by divyamramesh »

Here is a 13-part Sanskrit composition that traverses the 72-melakartas in just 7 minutes and lists the names of each melakarta in serial order, chakra that it belongs to and the basic ornamentation of that raga. It also features a concluding section in Surati and is a colourful concert-worthy piece.

Indeed it is Vinay. I had the privilege of listening to it once before. And thanks to Divya for sharing it online.

Excellent!
Presume the author of the concluding verse is Sri Ravikiran.
