All the notification you need is provided by the photograph.

You can see the artists on stage, the banner tells you the name of the organisation and the stone tablet tells you the venue. For those who cannot read Tamil, it is the Rathnagireeswarar Temple in Besant Nagar, Chennai.

The only thing missing is the date of the concert. It took place a couple of days back. I can't give you the exact date, sorry.

Now we know. Vijayakshmi Subramanian was very much there, and gave a very good concert too, I would think...

It was a concert for Suswara - the organization had a series of concerts to celebrate its 25th year . The haloed Ratnagriswarar temple in Besant Nagar provided a perfectly divine backdrop for the concerts - there is something special about concerts in temples - the energies , spirit and tranquility that are so much a part of these sacred spaces (despite the constant activity and buzz in the temples) inspire the artistes many a time to present music that is so rich and full of bhava and beauty ... thoroughly enjoyed every minute of Dr. VS's concert - it was on 16th Nov - Saturday .

Dr. Vijayalakshmy Subramaniam was accompanied by Sri M R Gopinath on the violin and Sri Nellai Balaji on the Mridangam.
