ISAI is an organization that is quietly doing its part in bringing Carnatic music to Chennai residents.
It organizes concerts monthly and has held over 100 concerts so far. The 100th concert was by Sri Vijay Siva if I recall correctly. Well-known musicians perform for ISAI to show their support for ISAI.
Paucity of funds prevents it from taking an advertisement in the newspaper.
On Nov 23, there will be a concert by Vidushi Smt Seetha Narayanan at Mahalakshmi Hall in Raja Annamalai Puram.
From Greenways Road when you go north on Kamarajar Salai, there is a police booth on the left hand side. You turn left at the intersection and you will find the hall on the left side towards the end of the road.
ISAI is a membership organization but I don't think admission is charged for their concerts. Any admission charge will be nominal (less than the price of one kilogram of onions, for those of you following vegetable prices in India)!
However, one can choose to become a member and support their efforts. All members get notifications of the concerts.
