Dr Nithya Sri gave an enjoyable concert which was broadcasted on 18/12/2013.
Dr Nithya Sri although belonging to DKP/DKJ school has evolved her own style of singing which is distinct from her mentors.

Dr Nithya Sri has to be highly commended for singing emotionally in spite of her personal tragedy.

The theme of the concert was Lord Ranganatha.

If that song sounded almost like Subhapantuvarali, then it is in raga Sekharachandrika.

Sounded more like bhajans with average lyrics. Sound was also unsteady due to the regualr jerking up and down of the head, not always near the mike. DKJ style.

The sound problem seems was due to some technical error in recording and not because any other reasons.

I saw the telecast in you tube .The sound was perfect.Seems Jaya tv had some problems that day .
