Gotta love those bucket seats sometime! Was your full house a noon concert? Disqualified, if not.

Well, *noon* time makes a difference. 9.30 AM and Noon is apples and oranges. (plus other controls needed, artist, vayiRRukku uNavu...)

The other 150 all sat on the right-hand side, right?
Sad no doubt, but I'm sure that, at some of the season concerts, an audience of two would have been thought more than ok.

The photographer said, later, "to be fair, some folks sat on the other side"...150 skewed on one side would be like Cong and BJP, with the other side as seen in the pic represented by AAP :p
Artists must have nerves of steel to perform to far more chairs than people.
MFAC may have had an excellent canteen special or coffee that got all the draw at noon. ~o)

I think that, if they have to, they sing for themselves.
K P Nandini, at R S Hall, a few days ago, started with an audience of 8 --- although there more towards the end.
Obviously, working people cannot make a 4pm concert, let alone a mid-day one.

Hmmm, as indicated in one of the posts, this was 22nd Dec - India must have developed a fabulous work ethic in recent years.

Whoops!
I'm sure that many do have to work on Sundays, but still, point conceded!

A n innovative - if a touch radical - technique to retain your sparse audience, from this 1975 Ananda Vikatan Cartoon. Thanks to Pasupathy sir's blog!
