I was referring to the great concerts by the trio accompanied by PMI. LS with the legendary Chembai formed a fantastic combination.I believe he is enlivening the atmosphere in Bangalore with many supported performances.

Although there is no actual "Islington" Tube station.

There is Angel, which was my commuting point for 16 years, and at the other end of Islington there is Highbury and Islington. Nearby to the latter is Union Chapel. I don't know when it became a music venue, but it was there, thirty years later, that I fell off the Indian fence on the carnatic side.

Quite a few London underground stations have become disused, closed, perhaps even just forgotten about, so maybe back in 1967 ...but I don't think so.

Actually, I got the nickname mahavishnu when I was in college because of my devoted following of the Mahavishnu orchestra.
