Some of the artists performing at the International Convention are Pandit Birju Maharaj (Kathak), Pandit Shivkumar Sharma (Santoor), Prof. T. N. Krishnan (Violin), Smt. Girija Devi (Hindustani Vocal), Dr. L. Subramaniam (Violin), Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar (Hindustani Vocal), Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt (Mohan Veena), Shri T. M. Krishna (Carnatic Vocal), Smt. R. Vedavalli (Carnatic Vocal), Vidwan Ravi Kiran (Chitraveena), Smt. Bombay Jayashri (Carnatic Vocal), Shri Adoor Gopalakrishnan (Film making), Vidwan T. N. Sheshagopalan (Carnatic Vocal), Smt. Alarmel Valli (Bharatnatyam), Smt. Anjolie Ela Menon (Painting), Ustad F. Wasifuddin Dagar (Dhrupad), Shri Margi Madhu (Koodiattam), Warsi Brothers (Qawwali), Kalamandalam Mohana Krishnan (Ottanthullal) Chancel Choir from Nagaland and performances of various folk forms. We would also be having intensives and workshops conducted by inspiring gurus and master craftsmen. National Conventions are the congregation of the people associated with this Noble Cause, who spend one week in a unique ashram-like atmosphere.
There are concerts each night, from 6th to 13th, finishing with a grand (really grand!) star-studded all-night performance on 13th. Such a line-up we might not see in a year, even in Chennai, let alone in a single night!

I'm told, all are welcome to the concerts, but vehicles are not and will not be admitted. IIT public transport must be used from the gate.
