Parampara 15th Anniversary - Vijay Siva sings at Bangalore

Parampara Centre for Carnatic Music was started by Savitha Kartik (disciple of Shri Kuppuswamy, DKJ, and VS) 15 years ago to impart Carnatic Music learning to children in Bangalore. Today it has grown to be known as a reputed place for such learning, and members of the Centre have also registered a Trust for inquiring into Creative Expression and the Creative Arts.

For the 15h Anniversary of the Centre on August 3 2014, an audio CD containing renditions by the students of Parampara along with their Guru (called Ekamanekam) will be released by Vidwan Shri N. Vijay Siva in a function starting at 5:15 pm. After this, N.Vijay Siva sings from 6 pm onwards in the company of R.K.Shriram Kumar (violin), N.Manoj Siva (mrudangam), and S.Karthick (ghatam). The venue is the Indranagar Sangeetha Sabha Auditorium, Purandara Bhavan, Indranagar Bangalore.
