SVBC-Naada Neerajanam Concerts

Sri Venkateshwara Bhakthi Channel is doing great service in serving the cause of Indian Classical Music by telecasting in prime time 18-10/15hrs to 19.30 Hrs concerts every day in addition to other programs like 'Raga Ravali' by Murthy and Pantula Rama, 'Agyata Vaaggeyakaarulu' by Vyjus Subhrahmanyam etc.
Like AIR, all the AIR ranked artists and registered with SVBC, are being given opportunity to perform and also darshan of the Lord Venkateshwara. Like AIR concerts many talented artists are performing in this Naada Neerajanam program.
To extend our recognition and appreciation of all the talented artists who have given good concerts and to support these artists for wider recognition and rewards, please post the reports and reviews. I will also post the concerts I have watched and heard.

Yes, this is my staple as it were, when I visit India and when I am not listening to live music somewhere away from home.

KSSR started a thread quite some time ago on this program and he and others have been reporting on concerts from the channel regularly. It's perhaps a good idea to blend this thread with the other. Hope listeners contribute and keep the thread active.

Dear Arasiji,There's a webcast of TTD programmes on svbcttd.com. Recently , they have added a calendar of events for Nadaneerajanam so that we could watch programmes of our preference.i think the time will be suitable if you live in the East.

This channel also has another prog.conducted by pantula ramA broadcasted on wed.@ 9 - 9.30 p.m where she takes a mELakartA rAgam and explains and also sing a kriti afterward.this wed.it was 23rd mELam gowrimanOhari.she sang brilliant svarams for gurulEka.pl.do watch this prog.

I watch this channel regularly. Many times, we get to hear good concerts. Yesterday, 11 Aug, there was a very good veena concert by SMT.YELLA SRIVANI of Tirupati. May be Yella Venkateswara Rao's daugther. I am not sure. She played very well. Songs I heard- Hiranmayim Lakshmim,Raghuvamsudha, Giripai- Main with tanam. It was much refreshing. I have not heard Giripai for many years in a live concert. that too veena- it is very rare. Top notch accompanists- Patri Satish Kumar and BS Purushotham. Thanks to TTD.
