Another sparking concert by the "Karnatic CSK Team" – I mean Sanjay and his formidable team
It was more soothing and soft and pleasing today and virtually he has covered every composer you can think of.
There were more devotional content with two Andal compositions and the gem being his popular number Karpooram Narumo –Kamas
Once again he and his team excelled in RTP – Saramathi –Vaazhthiduvom varum , vaaimaiyum thooimayum ( Modi effect!!) wherein he covered apart from saaramathi- bilahari, maalava sri and challa nattai)

It appears that the "gold standard" for carnatic music concert singing has been set by Sanjay Subrahmanyam, Vardarajan and Neyveli Venkatesh.

There was so much variety, in terms of ragas, composers in the above concert. All the pieces were delivered with a lot discipline, devotion, and great creativity. Each time I listen to Sanjay Subrahmanyam's concerts I get introduced to a new raga, a new Kriti, enriching my being..
The shanarabharam kriti and the Naganandini piece were the gems of the evening.
