What a way to start Music Season. Amazing performance by the Young Genius Abishsek.
Two songs (1) Hindolam and (2) RTP (atana, purvikalyani, maand - adi (tisra gati) (t) pallavi words: ra ra rajeeva lochana, ati vegame) will be lingered in the ears of overflowing rasikas which included Bombay Jayashree, Pungalam Subramaniam, K V Gopalakrishnan, Chandrasekara Sharma,and many more vidwans . All are just mesmerized and tied to their seats with a scintillating performance.
The concert started at 7 and at 9.15pm the genius was asking the organizers how long it can go and before he could complete the question pat came reply as long as you want and that’s it. What a lovely RTP with a fighting display by Mysore Srikanth in violin.
The Thani dual between Anantha Krishnan and Shree Sundarkumar was just marvelous
I am sure this concert will be discussed by everyone exchanging pleasantries during this season unless something else supersedes this which I am doubtful. Just fortunate to be amongst the audience.

Looks to have been a full course Abhishek concert.
His penchant for Suryakantam is well known. He sang Atana RTP at Unnati. Saveri and Hindola are his left hand play. His Hindola and SAma GAna lOle in GNB tribute concert still rings in my ears.

I wish I was there, I surely miss this great team especially anantha and BSK the combo I adore and with shrikant who must have provided that right restrained support .The bhavanuta and rtp , wow way to go abhishek .

He is exceptional.

You also do a "close hair cut" before attending his concert. All his concert will be ".....kOOcheriyum"- (hair raising concerts) L-)

grsastrigal- Have attend numerous concerts of Abi in the last two years or more. Yes I do agree each one unique and that is why he is called Super Star of Carnatic Music
