For both concerts, entry is free for members and children below 18. Others are requested to collect donor passes at the entrance.

Dileep Kumar's is a very good bhava laden music. His guru is Mangadu K Natesan (Semmangudi disciple) who is the recipient of 'Sangita Kala Acharya' award this year. I like this artiste. His repertoire is considerable and despite being a Kerala based artiste his diction in tamil songs is good.

He is always bit unconventional , the few recordings that i heard thru sangeethapriya had an elaborate brindavana saranga and behag. The only one that I heard him live he sang a rajeeva lochana in mohanam as main. I am yet to hear him sing BIg 5 excepting one that I forgot . I am registering his excellence more away from big 5 ragas- kid of unconventional route.

Malahari with pancha matanga dikshitar krithi is TRS mama special he took it to himalayan heights , tns has sung a pallavi - expanding the scope of malahari , some one told tns sang in neyveli santhanagopalan vijayadashmi function . I am certainly very interested in hearing this malahari , was it a very short alapana and a short swaras - minutes atleast for this krithi in alapana and swaras will indeed help. :
VR Dileep is a lovely singer . Tx to ranjani(arvind brahmakal) in hosting him.
