I saw a post in my FB of this young artist Aishu Venkatraman. Stunning bowing technique. I thought no violinist could produce TNK bowing technique. This is amazing talent. I don't see her taking part in Chennai Music Season. Understand she is doing medicine. Listen to this Khamas.

Dear KNV Mama and the Rasikas Community,
Thank you so much for your kind words--it's truly a blessing to have learned from T.N. Krishnan Mama and to be able to carry on his technique, style, and legacy. I am also currently learning under Sri S.R Janakiraman Mama, and have been learning a tremendous number of rare krithis from him!
I am attaching my concert list for this December season. Hope you will be able to attend. Thank you so much for your love and support!

Aishu,
What a wonderfully diverse set of venues and programs! Best wishes (to you and your dad) for a great season - I'm sure you'll be amazing! Just be wary of autoRickshaws!
On Sunday December 21, you'll be performing at a venue that's near and dear to me - I wish I could have been there!,, But when you're there, please say hello to Sri Rajagopaliyer (Ponbhairavi) and Sri Pratyaksham Bala for me!

KNV1955,
Thanks for starting this thread. I have heard Aishu live about 4 times and had the pleasure of chatting her up in Los Angeles after her accompaniment concert for the Toronto Brothers. She has definitely taking after her guru TNK in bowing technique and raga bhavam.
I have not had much of an opportunity to listen to her for well over a year. I was really hoping to be in Chennai for the season. My employer felt otherwise and redirected my travel plans to Nova Scotia.
I however very religiously follow her "New Sound Sundays" wherein she develops a new ragam each week. Here is a sound cloud link to all her ragams thus far.
