Impressions

1. Absolutely mellifluous from start to finish with not a single harsh note or slip or frame noise. Simply brilliant swaras.

I think the tambura artist in the above picture is mother of Charumathi Raghuraman. I remember seeing her many years ago when charumathi played for prasanna in coolkarni concert series . I wish i was there to hear anantha play for charumathi.

Rajesh: As a consolation, here is Anantha accompanying Charumathi from a few days ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6A5ucXApKc
The sounds mixing leaves a lot to be desired, but I think the music will make you happy :)

That YT concert is a surprise! Thanks mahavishnu. She seems to be a very confident performer, and as sureshvv said, not a single harsh note.

Thanks mahavishnu. Great music. Nice hint of grihabedham in kalyani. Did you feel the percussion was a bit on the loud side (I did)?

Bad mike/recording. Anantha never intrudes. Maybe he didn't know. She repeatedly signals that the monitors are off or something.
I heard this concert a couple of times.
(BTW some way for the couple to go as a combo.)
