I need the lyrics for this song. I did find it elsewhere under another thread but the anu pallavi didn't seem right from what i am hearing in various audi0o recording versions. Reference would be the most recent upload from Vidya Kalyanaraman's concert in Sangeethapriya.

i just listened again and caught this
yadgopi vandanendu mandala ramitam
after that there is one more line which am not getting?

Also most singers sing as kindu bilva sadanam

What lovely words!

The village Jayadeva was born in is Kindubilva. It is mentionedin the 7th Ashtapadi. So I think the original words are correct.

Also, it must be "kuru" (not guru) in the first line, as the composer is asking his mind (mAnasa) to meditate(smaranam kuru) on Jayadeva

Hi all,
Thanks to you for the inputs,
Recently i have become a fan of this song and have heard 7-8 versions continuously from different artistes singing the song (courtesy sangeethapriya).
Fortunately amongst the vocals i heard all versions are uniform.

In the pallavi the last two words - 'guru mAnasa' are not being sung by any artistes.
In the anupallavi it reads

yatgOpi vadanEndu maNDana ramitam
tad-gOvinda -pAda candra cakOram

last word 'shri' is omitted
charanam thankfully not tampered.

And some versions render the song in Rupaka talam and some in Mishra Chapu talam. Here above it says thriputa talam (which is same as mishra chapu i suppose??)

HOW COME THE SONG LYRICS ARE BEING OMITTED WHILE SINGING IN THIS WAY? ISN'T THAT WRONG? AND IT SEEMS ALL SCHOOLS ARE TEACHING THIS SONG IN THIS WRONG WAY?
