Another evening of prestine music. Optimal crowd in the audience ensured it was only serious audience who turned up and stayed till the end. New patterns of swaras in pUrvikalyAni, rAgamalika swaras of RTP and their love for dAsa sAhitya was the highlight of the evening.

Overall it was a good team work of vocal and instrumentalists.

They are S Ashok and M B Hariharan.

I have noticed they include many compositions of Hari dAsa-s. I have found it interesting that I hear many of these songs for the first time (not that I know all the songs, but I am familiar with a fair amount of compositions of Hari dAsa-s)

Some additional information about the Brothers, based on what I have read:

They are not biological brothers but one of their mentors, mRdanga Vid H S Sudhindra gave them the name "Bangalore Brothers"
