One great composition that I am aware of is "ArabhimAnam vaittAdarippAr ennai Anandabhairavi.." in rAgamAlikai. Are there others that are available currently or were they lost?

His bio at Karnatik.com is quite thin and light. I searched for more info on the net but so far no luck. If any of you have/find more info, please post.

He has composed in the rare kalgada "Sarasija-netra" a song in tisra nadai Adi bristling with swarAksharas. The tAlam choice underscores the fact that he was student under ShAma shastry. Birana brova is indeed a masterpiece in kalyani.

The song palimpavamma attributed to Shama shastri is said by Prof. Sambamoorthy to be a song of our Tranquebar Five-river ayya!
(It has only one charanam, devoid of shama krishna mudra)
