Brilliant Kanthamani alapana by Shanmukhapriya took us into a different world, that Vivadi swara prayoga makes you feel very different!. The kriti was "Palintuvo.." Which was very well presented with beautiful kalpanaswaras!
Splendid Shankarabharana was taken for the detailed rendition,undoubtedly on the the best. So much dedication on rendering each swara, sangati a brilliant alapana by Haripriya with all the aesthetic things. She was really singing a lullaby. The kriti taken was "Daari juchi..".That slow paced "Thakita Takka Dinna" Mishra chapu beat was felt throughout the concert, no need put tala at all. Wonderful neraval and swaras . Excellent support by all the accompanists.
Ragam Tanam Pallavi wan in the raaga Shanmukhapriya, again splendid alapana by Haripriya with lovely Tanams. Pallavi was set in Mishra Jati Adi Tala Chathushra Nade. "Hare Krishna Madhava Madhusudana Muralidhara Karunakara MuraHare".
So much variety in Pallavi, Pallavi in trikalam and thrishra with different combinations of speeds.

This song isn't a kRti. It is a padam of MuvanallUr SabhApatayya. IT looks like the practise of singing padam elaborately, even as the main piece with AlApana, neraval etc is gaining popularity.
