Though, I thought of not reporting one more review of SGC, I wanted this for Dr. NarmadA’s magic.

SGC has got a great attitude to his accompanists. SGC’s respect to co-artists merit mention. I observed in many of his concerts his appreciation of other artists. With Srimishnam rAja raO, SGC takes his tillAna and sings, with Umayalpuram, recently in Tiruppugazh-dedicated concert, he sang almost all songs tuned by Umayalpuram . With Sanjeev, he takes inputs to improvise. He informs this on the stage to give credit to artists. A great attitude.
In this concert, he said, the kOrvai in main was assisted by K.V.Prasad. He also informed, before shudha sArang “this was tuned by Sri.T S Kalyanaraman and that time one of the accompanists was Sri.MSG. Today, I will present this and happy to see Dr.Narmanda on violin, to reproduce the magic”

After he finished this rAgA, he gave more time to Dr.NarmadA. It was “adhi shudha sArang”. MSG’s magic was there everywhere.

I need to mention about Dr. If we record her return of rAgAs, in this concert, and make a CD, this could be a separate concert. Such a beauty. True to the footsteps of her father.

rAmr rAma is more attractive than “ninnE nammidhi”. Some of its pudIs exhibit true beauty of the rAgAs and wondering swAthi tirunAl’s musical richness.

K.V.Prasad’s mridhangam is a class and well as the Ghatam.

Very charming on stage. At his BVB concert, after the main alapana he recommended to the audience that they stay back
for the rare tamil keerthanam of tiruvarur ramasamy pillai on meenakshi amman. Last year at the same venue,
he suggested that they need not go through the pain of stealth recording as he would make the concert available on his website.
