It was very nice of them to honour the request of many listeners. ShrIra~njani, dhanyAShi, and bhavapriya were all audience requests and they obliged. DhanyAShi AlApana and kRti was very soulfully rendered. The first half of the concert included pieces 1 to 7. Then a short break of 5-10 minutes and the concert continued with mOkSamu galadA (they started with the anupallavi, which is quite common). After the peppy raghuvaMSha came the main item of the evening. The highlight of the concert RTP was elaborate and was for about an hour with the main rAga occupying the lion's share of the duration. Unfortunately, the pallavi was not announced. The accompaniments were mellow and and subtle (No overpowering bangs at any point in the kaccEri). Overall a very nice concert.
Badri.

Indeed, the concert was lovely. Bhavapriya was particularly beautiful. No glitches anywhere, nothing overdone. The choice of songs was good, as was their temperament all through the concert.
A note of appreciation for the percussionists who did a great job too. The tani Avartanam was delightful. Overall, a very very good concert.
Unnikrishnan on May 12th is now eagerly awaited by many in Atlanta, I guess.
