Nanditha Ravi isn't spoken about much. She is one of the unsung master in the making to hold a particular of kind scholarship & musical values - no overdoing anything, measure twice, keep it in proportion and cut once kind of approach - aloft and I hope we find more Nandita Ravi's. If I am not mistaken, she is also a Dr, the PhD kind on Music/CM.

I think the violinist is VVSrinivasarao as it says on the video and not VVRavi. Will listen to the concert though. Too many options to choose from. But she accompanies her mother Rama Ravi and it is always sublime. Cannot wait for that concert tomorrow at Raaga Sudha Hall

I am like a babe in the woods when it comes to identifying the ragas. As I was listening to this concert in youtube, I couldn't find the kriti chintayEham in my Raagaa guide, I made a google search which brought me to this post. I immediately joined the forum and this is my first post. This post was very useful to me in following the concert. This was a delightful contest even for a person like me who couldn't grasp the nuances of Carnatic Music. Thanks for the post and thanks to those who have created this forum. I expect to use this forum often.
