The resume of Sri N.C.BHARATHWAJ Mrudangist is given below.

BRIEF RESUME OF N C BHARADWAJ

N.C.Bharadwaj started learning mridangam at the age of 6. He had his initial training under Srivancheyam Shri S Gopalan. Then, he had his training under Nanganallur Shri R Sriram. Currently, he is under the able guidance of Padmavibushan, Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. Umayalpuram Shri K Sivaraman.
Bharadwaj is an “A Grade” artiste of All India Radio and Doordarshan. He is a recipient of various awards and titles such as Bharat Ratna Dr MS Subbulakshmi Fellowship Award by Shri Shanmukananda Fine Arts & Sangeetha Sabha, Mumbai, Sangeetha Mudhra” Title by Mudhra Fine Arts, “Best Mridangist – KALAVANTA 2014” Award by KFAC (Karnataka Fine Arts Council) conducted by a team of 10 leading sabhas of Bangalore, “Yuva Kala Bharathi” title by Bharat Kalachar, etc; to name a few.
He has performed in Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. He have been accompanying various frontline artistes such as Dr N Ramani, Shri TV Sankaranarayanan, Shri N Vijay Siva, Shri O.S. Thiagarajan, Dr. Pantula Rama, Lalgudi Shri GJR Krishnan & Lalgudi Smt Vijayalakshmi, Smt Bombay Jayashree, Chitraveena Shri N Ravikiran, Smt Ranjani & Gayathri, Shri Abhishek Raghuram, Smt Gayathri Venkatraghavan, etc. He have also been accompanying upcoming artistes in various reputed sabhas in and around India and abroad.

Dear Rasikas,
The Rasikas meet 2015 was not held as usually in 2015 due to unprecedented rain in Chennai.
Hence an informal meet of Rasikas was held on 31.01.2016 before the concert of Sri Suryaprakash.

The following members attended the meeting.
1.Sri V.K.Viswanathan.
2. Sri C Rama.
3. Sri Uday Sankar.
4. S.Nageswaran.
5. Mr. Nick.
Besides, many guests including Mrs. V.K.Viswanathan, N.C.Bharathwaj, his parents and grand mother. and his aunt and a few others attended the meeting.
After the welcome address by the U/S, self introduction of the Rasikas was done.
