The announcer pronounces it as soundhivi but maybe it is saindhavi.

The ragam according to me is vasantha.

i heard gowli, and searched......i give up.
i know its recorded (commercially available) music. i love it....but cannot figure out how to look for it. :(

None of the above (saindhavi, vasantha, bowli). Sounds like lavangi, but I could also be wrong. Not a common raga for sure.

lavangi has only four notes in its scale:
mELA 1 - S R M D S /S D M R S

Just to listened to it again. It is indeed lavangi. The announcer even mentions it very quickly at around 0:11. M. Balamuralikrishna created the ragam, so you might want to start there with respect to potential composer.

She definitely said bowli. Also it is followed by a ganesha stuti and that is a totally different raga. I am looking for the beginning of the dance.

I was referring to the pushpanjali as well. We will agree to disagree. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can comment. :)
