It was indeed a most memorable evening. The “Sangeetha Rathnakara” was conferred on behalf of the Cleveland Aradhana committee by Sri Nalli Chettiar on Vidushi Smt Radha Viswanathan and Vidwan Sri B Krishnamoorthy
The program commenced with a beautiful prayer by Kumari Raksha. On the stage were Cleveland Sri V V Sundaram, Cleveland Sri Balu, Vidwan Sri PSN, Vidushi Dr Vedavalli, Vidwan Sri B Krishnamoorthy, Sri Nalli Chettiar, Smt Radha Viswanathan, Smt Selvi Viswanathan, Dr V K Viswanathan, Toronto Sri Venkataraman, Smt Gomathi Balu.

A packed hall with almost all musicians of Chennai thronging “Dakshinamurthy Hall.”
Sri Nalli Chettiar spoke on the generosity of the Sadasivams and said the while other people donated a portion from what they earned, the Sadasivam family donated to society whatever they had earned.
Dr Vedavalli spoke on the genius of Radha. She said it was incorrect to say that MSS had no disciples. Smt Radha is the “Manickam” of MS.
Dr PSN mentioned about the practice sessions in Kalki Gardens and how effortlessly Smt Radha and Smt Vijaya would sing Neraval and Swarams.
Dr VKV presented a beautiful “Nambe Plate” to Smt Radha.
Smt Ranjani Sivakumar was the master of ceremonies.
On the whole this was a function which will be long remembered for the professional and meticulous manner in which it was conducted, the warmth exuded by the speakers and the highly knowledgable and appreciative audience.
The function was followed by a grand concert by Smt Gayathri Venkataraghavan accompanied by Sri R K Shriramkumar and Sri Mannargudi Easwaran.
