Last year she presented a thematic concert here on 'VAni'. This concert supposed to start by 10 delayed by 15+ minutes as the previous concert of Shri AKC went on per his request.
The start was in unhurried manner as late in the evening concert Sanjay went full throttle in aTa thala varnam and nAgaswarali
. Abhogi alapana was well detailed. She sung chintamani in madhyama sruthi. Elaborate PurviKalyani alapana and the neraval and swaras were Top stuff. While the tAni was over I expected she will sing few thukkadas as the lunch time ticked in. But she did a short RTP. She did sruthi bedham in Shamugapriya rtp during 2nd phase of the alapana unable to decode it
Embar Kannan, Take a bow. Brilliant bowing throughout. His alapana in Poorvi Kalyani & Shanmugapriya were Top Class !
Excellent tAni from the seasoned Vaidyanathan & Purushothaman.
