Nope. It was srilakshmi varaha with neraval and swaras at Mangalaalaya. They wrapped it up by 8.40 even short of the 2 hour slot. Felt a bit let down.

But Trichur Bros. are proving once again how the sum is greater than the parts put together.

Few years back I remember GRSastrigal writing humorously that the sabha secy of Brahma gana sabha with folded hands begged Trichur brothers to wrap up in near 2 hours but the brothers extended considerably more . I wish BGS-ALwarpet experience gets rubbed to BVB-Mylapore (we need longer fire).

almost everything in music described by Trichur bros by one and all.
the most interesting thing i observed is their announcement in between very boldly and suitably wanting to occupy the seats in front for the standing audience and politely requesting the audience to stay for thani both violin and mirudangam.
this is a great gesture for a musician.

A couple of rows are reserved for VIPS and some seats were left empty even after an hour into the concert.
When Srikrishna Mohan asked the people standing at the back to come forward and be seated, there was a murmur from the ushers. Presumable this was their orders, but the Trichur brother persisted and urged the standees to come forward and occupy the seats.
