Friends: I attended a mini concert by Anatha Ram and Amith Nadig (Father and Son respectively) in Flint, Michigan (about 80 miles north west of Detroit) and they were absolutely phenomenal. I believe it was their first tour to USA and Amith is an Engineering student in Bangalore; so they have to schedule the tour when he has vacation. If you are in USA and if you are an organizer of any of the music sabhas, please consider inviting these folks. They will be in the country for a few more weeks. Their performance was of awesome quality and like the cliche says - looks like they are the best kept secret in the Karnatik Flute world.
