Unlike previous years, Jayashri's concert is very brisk and nice

After very fast swaram. The artist has commenced delivering Hanumane Swamikindha in malayamarutham

She delivered the song so well. Now it's shankarabharanam ..

Her voice is not in good shape. She is unable to deliver brigas and sangatis in higher octaves. Despite this challenge, few ragam of shankarabharanam ragam was good.

I heard that the Urmika RTP was rather an expansive one. 3 minutes raga and thanam and a swift pallavi. Was that indeed the case?

Yes I guess. But one need not elaborate the raga in detail. Plus it was only two and a half hour concert. You can't expect artist to detailed raga sketch for even rtp.

What was intriguing is... most audience in balcony guessed the ragam as hamsanadham and clapped fora while. I must say, we audience are not being responsible, we celebrate musicians over music!
