9. SB cont. this time the kriti in full in misra chapu . ragamalika swaram. This was the better portion of the 1 hour 10 minutes SB.

SG is an excellent singer. Lovely voice. Flawless rendition. Selection of ragams for the main items and time allotment ????
Pakkavaadhyams were good. Vyasa Vittala excelled.
SRLKM- Sri.Krishna Prasad is doing yeoman service to music. Hats off to him and his team.

I understand the drag and you have given few pointers in the past about your excess love to shankarabharanam drag. This pallavi is a semmangudi one , he has sung in keeravani. I am not sure if SSI or any one else has sung in Shankarabharanam. Gurucharan guru is vaigal gnanaskandan and his guru is semmangudi.

Shri Rajesh is indeed from Mumbai. A fantastic and dedicated artiste from the Palakkad Mani Iyer / Palakkad Raghu school. He has enhanced and elevated innumerable concerts in Mumbai with his dignified and supportive playing.

For a change, I was not wrong in this case. The sankarabharam had R,T and Pallavi in Adi talam with swaram. Then thani. Then he continued with SB krithi by Sadasiva Brahmendral

rshankar: I just write saahithyam, as heard. Not a specialist at all in Sanskrit/telugu, etc., I sometimes, at least try to think if it is Tamil. I am too lazy to search the net and find out, etc., Hope you will excuse.
