I greatly regret leaving after this; I left in bus-greed, but I didn't even get the bus I wanted and ended up waiting so long for the bus and then taking another.

It was a good concert. Have seen some videos of Ramana's performances at Naada Inbam. It is wonderful to see a youngster take up the veene, and the remark here http://www.rasikas.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29499 spurred me into posting this even though I was present for so little of the concert.

It was a tough choice, with Mahadevan Shankaranarayanan also performing at Naada Surabhi.

I fear there is a certain increasing attraction towards "minukku" in Ramana's artistry, but the saruAShTra was reassuring. Behag had one big round of slow and one big round of fast swarams instead of a build-up from shorter to longer rounds. One is not a fan of pre-main Behag in general.

The accompaniment provided by Aravind and Phanindra gelled well in most places. It was wonderful to see the teamwork develop as the concert progressed.
