Bhagavathula Seetharama Sarma, guru of T M Krishna and retired faculty member of Kalakshetra, passed away this morning at Bangalore.

I have attended many Kalakshetra dance dramas in 70s and 80s, he led and held together their wonderful orchestra that sang the compositions of Vasudevacharya, Sivan and others.

My respects to the departed soul.

Condolences to the family. My wife tells me that in the 90's whenever we visited Chennai,my late father(K.S.Mahadevan) used to literally "drag" her to dances choreographed by him. and always spoke very highly of Sri.Sharma.
