Sunil started with the pada varnam but omitted the sahityam for the swarams- which was right given the 1.5 hour slot he had. He presents with great confidence and style but I find him rushing at the gate a few times when he's on to a good thing. I'd call it just the folly of youth. He IS on to a good thing- with all the makings of a good vidhwan
KS for Abhogi showed promise though not all of it was picked up by the violin. Anandabhairavi was cleanly sung and Dharmavati was well done too. Intanuchu seems to be a popular filler this Season and I finally heard some KS for Guntakriya today. The winner however was a splendid Begada - all aspects of it were very well done- a Bhava filled ragam, the kriti and then the crisp neraval and KS. After the thani, he quickly wound up with the last two pieces.
Definitely, one of the young brigade to watch.
