Oh. What a list ? must be an excellent concert.. I really missed it. I was thinking whether to go to IFAS (Sanjay) or PSS (VS) or MA (MA). I decided for BJ as it is the only concert, I could listen of BJ.

Seems like a no-brainer

The tukkada section from #10 onwards all are new to me from VS. All including #9 shone like gems.

On the way out of the hall, they were handing out "sevai", presumably made from Concord packets that were arranged on the table behind. It was most excellent! I think I have the same packets at home (unless it is "new and improved"), but whet I get is not anywhere close

Listening to the lyrics one can see how advanced in his thinking Bharathiyaar was.
He talks about "ponnai uyarvai pugazhai" but does not lump "poovayar" along with them as the other poets (from his time and even since) do.
