Can someone identify the raga for Nadaloludai as sung by Dr. T Lokanatha Sarma of the Chittoor School?

Sounds like a janya close to gaurimanOhari- rather like gaurivELAvaLi. I do not know if there is such a pAThAntara attested elsewhere.

I think vOlETi has used the same scale as the regular kalyANavasanta but as a janya of the 23rd rather than 21st mELa. i.e with D2.

Other than drshrikaanth's cited scale(employing catuShruti dhaivata), there is also another version: sg2mdn3 S* S8 n3 dpmg2 r2 s

drshrikanth Sir: The scale I mentioned is used in notation in TKG's book. I attended a lecdem many years ago wherein the mention of the use of the catuShruti dhaivata use as you have cited was contended as an old pAThAntara(I think R vEdavalli renders the kriti using your version), the new one was in vogue in the last thirty or so years (as far as I can remember). TKG does provide both notations for both versions in his book.
