Keentolearn, I have made some corrections based on what I hear from Sri Sanjay Subrahmanyan's version (noted in red text). However, the last 2 lines of the caraNam do not make sense to me. I am hoping that Lakshman-ji or Sri PB will find the original tamizh lyrics and make corrections - will complete it then. Other comments and corrections welcome.

In the meantime, here's the rest of it:

[2] Given the setting of this composition, and that it is a padam by Ghanam Krishnayyar, the nAyika's feelings are likely to be amorous
[3] Literally means cheek-to-cheek, implying something that no one else can hear, i.e., in secret
[4] The question is, who did the nAyika communicate her decision to - her sakhi, or the nAyaka himself?
