In Bangalore RamaNavami Music Festival kicked off at various venues;
There were high profile concerts at other venues.
I chose to attend R Surya Prakash's concert as i am put up in R R Nagar.
It was well worth the effort to stick to R R Nagar concert.
Having already heard him a couple of times in Bangalore i had full faith and it turned out to be an excellent concert.

Very good Violin support from H M Smitha
Mridangam and ghatam provided good support and made the conceret lively.
I do hope R Surya Prakash gets featured by other Sabhas in Bangalore

Yes, Smitha plays so well. Suryaprakash would have appreciated it too, in case he hadn't heard her play before. I have heard her a few times, playing for senior musicians and also for younger vidvAns/vidushis, starting from Neela Ramgopal. She IS good!
