VA varam aRul gaNapatiye vandeNaiAl guNa nidhiye (This sentence meaning is clear...one clarification enaiAl means rule over me? Arul sei?)

The next line is

MA vaLamaikku adhipatiye mahimai taRum maRai oLiye (my clarification request is for the last word oLiye. Meaning for the whole line will also help!)

gaNapatiyE/nidhiyE/oLiyE indicate that the composer is calling out gaNapati, or the repository (nidhi), or the light (oLi) - like sambodhana prathama in samskRtam.

ALudal - means to rule over someone like a king, OR, in the case of a divine being, being admitted to their grace.
