Sure sir - By the way, my name is Krishna Kishore and I'm merely the typist and blog admin.
All these jAvaLIs were collected by my mother who is well-versed in both Telugu and Carnatic Music.

Your question actually brought up a new dimension to our project to publish - if we can also translate each jAvaLi into English (and contemporary Telugu too!) - but, could take a lot of effort. But, we'll sure get started soon.

It may not be a bad idea if we could crowd-source translation too - if anyone else who has the necessary knowledge and time could volunteer, would give credits to each such person and translation.

Hope to have the meaning of this jAvaLi by today / tomorrow

1) apologies for the delay
2) when my mother and another veteran Telugu author tried to translate, they found that we had made some mistakes in the lyrics that we published. We plan to again compare with the photocopy she has, and correct them tomorrow.
*** Extremely sorry for the mistakes too. ***
While we have been very careful with each word of each jAvaLi, not sure how we made the mistakes despite a review. (Thankfully, wordpress allows us to see the history and we are able to see we introduced some after original text was typed)
3) Plan to post the corrected lyrics in the blog site, and also send the meaning tomorrow

Sir, we posted revised text of the "dAni bOdhana" jAvaLi - as available from my mother's hand-written notes. It is in the same page as https://javali.blog/2020/09/15/259-%E0% ... i-bodhana/ - below the first version

We are still unable to figure out
1) how we introduced 1-2 extra/ less words when we first published - if we have 2 versions of text
2) meanings of some words - "kaddilinchu", "murAd ichchEvurA"

Unfortunately, am not able to get access to the second link
Appreciate if anyone who has access can download the book / pages

After multiple discussions on the correctness of lyrics, and possible meaning, here's what I have for you - courtesy of Smt Dr. Kanakam Devaguptapu


Overall meaning of the lyrics:
pallavi: May I put forth her narration (as she expressed to you), O Lord
brihadishwara, lover of music?
anupallavi: “is it just/appropriate (for me) to be away from you? would it (such
separation) be liked or appreciated by you?
caraNam: “I came to you wanting to sit close to you and give you a kiss. However,
you frightened me by behaving as you like.
oh indeed (an expression of surprise)! Well done! Very well done! bravo!
Very good! oh! yes, yes indeed! (an expression of surprise)! This
(behaviour of yours) is not at all respectable, O you (address)! go, go
away, O you! (address)

I'll update the blog post lyrics with her suggestion of text corrections too
