I think he was part of Maruti Bhakta Samajam trust that built the Sri Hanuman Temple - Nanganallur. Recall seeing him compering the mid-concert proceedings/speeches and honors to artists in the Dr. BMK concert in 1997 @ MA organized by the trust.
