I apologise for this incomplete list as I had to leave at 10 pm. I would appreciate if somebody who attended the concert could complete the list. The organisers started the concert late eventhough the artistes were present well ahead of time. Probably they were waiting for more people to come in.
To say a few words about the concert: It was an excellent performance by the entire team. Sri. Ramachandran's Arabhi was simply awesome. He reminded me very much of his grandfather the ever great MVI. Varali was also exceptional.
Sri. Nagai Murlidharan's Alaapanai for Aarabhi and Madhyamavati was top class. Last but not the least was the brilliant Tani by Sri. Tanjore Ramadass. I was just thinking of Mani Iyer in mind all the while when Sri. Ramchandran announced that his playing reminded him of Mani Iyer too. Simply awesome!! It was a treat to the ears! He also told the audience that Sri. Ramadoss had the bhagyam of 20 years of Gurukulavaasam under the great Maestro.
Overall, the concert was very good. I would like to attend the one in Arsha Bodha center too if it is not already done!
