acc : tvkr, umayal sivaraman, tv vasan

seriously this was one of his very best concerts of all time ....he was determined to make up for the mess he did at ngs and in the end he made amends....

it was krishna at his vintage best nd with maestro umayal sivaraman by his side , there was no looking back.....both of them were in supreme form and the crowd gave a standing ovation after pallavi and thani....

he started with kamas varnam and then sung raju vedala.... the swaras were sung at an unbelievable pace ... simply a treat to watch ...then there was ora jupuju and then there was the sub main lalitha... it was sung with lot of bhava and he touched every nook and corner during his alapana and there were nofast phrases during the raga....i could not get the song (not nannu brovu lalitha), it was dikshitars....

then there was a fast paced anupama (atana) and then the main piece nadachi nadachi in karaharapriya... it was sung in a traditional way and including "krishnatronics" during RNS.... thani was brilliant and the nadham of the maestro was a treat to hear... then there was varali RTP....umayal accompanied him during thanam was one of the rare sights...pallavi didnt include tisram but there was trikalam.... then i had to leave coz it was alraedy past 9 30... but it was a fabulous concert, really feel sorry for those who missed that evening...

it was really spcl for me as i had to really fight to get a ticket as the hall was jampacked with chairs being put up[ on both sides to accomodate the rasikas....its sign of things to come at academy ... so dear rasikas watch out for t m k
