Brilliant half hour alaapana in Bhairavi. OST is a vidwan on whose voice age has noot made the slightest dent. Crystal clear and smooth across octaves. Vittal Ramamurhty provided brief but beautiful essays. Heavy on Thyagaraja though and no slower pieces to vary the mood. Also a very short concert - could easily have fitted in a Pallavi
Srimushnam was resonant and khandam was extensively explored. Ramani's (I think) strokes were clear and his responses on the ball.
