Not a great raag selection. karaharapriya, s'baranam, kedaragaula.. hindolam & saramathi .. S.P.Varali and K.Gaula only seems a good combo.

Sindhu,
I do not know much about 'good rAgA selection' for a given concert, but I can tell you this. I sat through the entire concert and enjoyed every minute of it. I know of her amazing knowledge of tALams (makes me feel meek, with my impairment in that area). The way she does NOT show (off) her mastery is what impresses me. The next day, when she was at Seetha Rajan's concert, there was no aggressive display of tALam keeping either, and her attending and appreciating another vocalist's music intently made an impression on me.
I loved her hindOLam. Her mellow rendering of all the items moved me and I left the hall in a peaceful state of mind...

Vanamali,

Thanks for posting the entire songlist.
Garuda Vahana vaibhava priyane was in Bhavapriya. I could get it, only because the sahityam itself had it. The RTP had ragamalika swarams in Reetigowla, kedaram, gowla towards the end. Don't know if there were any others, that I've missed.

It was a great concert. I had the privilege of attending the morning concerts at Academy for about a week. There was so much scope to learn from each one of it!

Her hindOLam was soothing. Her kharaharapriya had a delicate cascade of svarams. We have discussed the qualities of aTANA before on the forum. It was anything but vIra rasA that I heard in it . Her fine exposition revealed a slow moving majesty which was like gentle rain. The rAgA gained momentum as it wound up and merged with the returning line manda gamana. Her manasu svAdinamaina was the essence of SankarAbharaNAm...
